Caleta Terms of Use

1. Who is behind Caleta

Caleta is operated by CÓDIGO 19 LLC, in Puerto Rico. Address: 77 Calle Betances, Ste 3, Vega Baja, Puerto Rico 00693. You can email us at info@codigo19.dev.

2. Your license to use the app

We grant you a personal, nonexclusive and nontransferable license to use Caleta on Apple devices you own or control, subject to App Store rules and your rights under the law. You may use your photos for personal or commercial purposes.

The license lets you use the app; it does not transfer ownership of its code, design or brand. These terms supplement the applicable App Store terms and license; they do not replace them.

3. Your photos remain yours

Using Caleta does not transfer any rights in your photos to CÓDIGO 19 LLC. It also does not give us permission to publish, sell or use them in advertising. You decide what to save and share.

You must have the necessary rights and permissions for the images you use and share. Respect other people's privacy and rights. Do not use Caleta to create or share illegal content or to violate those rights.

4. Save what you want to keep

The Caleta roll lives in the app. We do not offer our own cloud backup or a photo recovery service. Deleting a photo from the roll does not send it to a trash folder. Deleting the app removes its local storage.

Before deleting anything, save the images you want to keep outside Caleta. Copies you saved in Photos or shared are not deleted when you delete Caleta. Keeping those copies depends on the services and settings you choose.

Caleta processes images on the device. The place name may use an Apple service over the internet, and saving, importing, sharing or sending email may use external services. See the Privacy Policy in Settings for these details.

5. Caleta+ purchases

Caleta+ unlocks every color in the catalog, the Cobalt, Palma, Cal, Coral and Black card papers, alternate app themes and icons, importing from your photo library, and saving or sharing photos without a template. Bone paper and the Brisa theme are free. The camera, including zoom and focus, the editor, cards and collages remain free.

You can choose an annual plan with automatic renewal or a lifetime purchase with a single payment. Purchases are handled through the App Store. The app shows Apple's price before you buy, and Apple asks for your confirmation. The applicable price is the one Apple shows at confirmation.

The annual plan renews each year until you cancel. Apple handles billing and renewals. You can manage or cancel through your Apple account's subscriptions before the next renewal and request refunds through Apple's channels, subject to its terms and applicable law. Deleting Caleta does not cancel a subscription. Buying lifetime access also does not cancel an annual plan that is still active.

If the plan expires, your photos and saved colors are not deleted. You can still view them, adjust their intensity and export cards or collages. Applying another Pro color, importing or exporting without a template requires active Pro access. Restore Purchases recovers the access Apple confirms for your account; it does not restore deleted photos.

6. What we can guarantee

Caleta is provided “as is,” to the extent permitted by law. We work to make it reliable, but we do not promise that it will be free of errors, never be interrupted or be able to recover a lost file. The place name and available data may be incomplete or inaccurate.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits arising from using or being unable to use Caleta. This limit does not exclude our liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or any warranties, compensation or other rights that the law does not allow us to limit. Nothing in these terms waives your mandatory consumer rights.

7. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Puerto Rico, without displacing any mandatory protections that apply where you live.

If we update them, we will publish a new date and version. You can read the text included with your version of Caleta in Settings. Any purchase will also be subject to the terms presented before you confirm it.
